About The Position

You will be the Mechanical Quality Inspection Associate Manager for the Mechanical Quality Inspection team. Our team is responsible for ensuring the highest‑quality products are delivered to our customers by developing and implementing robust inspection methodologies in a high‑precision machine shop. What You Will Be Doing As the Mechanical Quality Inspection Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading a team of Quality Inspectors, coordinating their development, and partnering with cross‑functional groups to optimize inspection processes. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in STEM or above or equivalent experience / combined education
  • Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
  • Quality experience with an emphasis on machining and inspection
  • Experienced as a team lead and facilitator
  • Ability to interpret drawings and specifications
  • Experience in making risk-based data driven decisions
  • Demonstrated presentation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) expertise
  • Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programming experience
  • Advanced knowledge of AS9100 standard and implementation of Quality Management Systems
  • First Article Inspection (FAI) experience
  • Special process engineering experience
  • SAP application experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of Quality Inspectors to develop and implement inspection methodologies, including CMM programs.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, following established procedures, work plans, and quality standards.
  • Direct daily operations of the inspection section, providing guidance and support to subordinates as needed.
  • Review documentation to verify that internal and external manufacturing processes meet quality requirements.
  • Serve as the internal liaison between inspectors, supervisors, and other functional areas to resolve project‑specific quality issues.
