About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for Senior Supplier Program Management Manager to join our Engine Management Delivery Center Leader team in Everett, WA or Seattle, WA. This role requires partnership with Leaders across the enterprise and an active member of the BCA (Boeing Commercial Airplane) Supply Chain team. This position will discover new opportunities and solutions for business problems by looking beyond current practices and using innovative thinking. This role requires blending strategic thinking with on-the-ground execution, enabling the organizations to improve systems, business policies, processes and efficiencies to operate as One Boeing Supply Chain. Our team is currently hiring a Level L Supplier Program Management Manager.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in managing or leading people or teams
  • 5+ years of experience in managing and leading teams, as well as influencing within matrixed organizations
  • 5+ years of experience in supporting Operations, Materials Management and/or Supply Chain functions in a production environment
  • 3+ years of experience leading or managing projects, teams, vendors in a factory/manufacturing environment
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Responsibilities

  • Manage employees and first level managers performing activities related to supplier program management throughout all contract phases.
  • Develops and executes integrated departmental plans, policies and procedures and provides input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals and objectives.
  • Acquires resources for department activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
  • Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.
  • Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers.
  • Interfaces directly with engine companies to resolve engine issues in the Boeing Production value stream
  • Engage with the Boeing Engineering, Contracts, Propulsion & Program organizations to resolve delivery issues
  • Represents the Engine Management organization at the delivery center and in the factory
