About The Position

The Supervisor, Talent Acquisition provides day-to-day leadership, guidance, and operational oversight to a team of recruiters supporting multiple DSV business units. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent execution of full cycle recruitment strategies, compliance with company and legal standards, and achievement of key talent acquisition metrics such as time to fill, cost per hire, and quality of hire. The Supervisor partners closely with business leaders, P&O Business Partners, and the Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to align recruiting operations with strategic workforce goals. The ideal candidate demonstrates a high degree of self-efficiency, project management expertise, and the ability to mentor, motivate, and develop a geographically dispersed recruiting team.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership ability in managing, coaching, and developing recruiting teams.
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle recruitment, project management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • High level of self-efficiency, able to operate independently while balancing strategic and tactical work.
  • Advanced communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to align recruiting activities to operational objectives.
  • Deep understanding of recruiting metrics and cost management principles.
  • Experience coordinating large-scale hiring events and supporting new site start-ups.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, fast-paced, and high-volume environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required (Master's preferred).
  • Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory or lead recruiter capacity.
  • Business fluent in English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams) and ATS platforms.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% for hiring events, site launches, and stakeholder meetings.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, or manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in leading multi-site recruitment teams and managing high-volume and specialized hiring simultaneously.
  • Preferably good command of local language

Responsibilities

  • Supervise a team of Talent Acquisition Specialists across assigned business units or regions.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and mentorship to ensure consistency in process execution, stakeholder engagement, and candidate experience.
  • Conduct regular performance check-ins and assist with recruiter development plans and goal setting.
  • Review key TA metrics with team members (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, offer acceptance rates) and drive accountability toward performance targets.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and high-performing team culture aligned with DSV's values.
  • Oversee the full recruitment lifecycle across both high-volume and professional roles, ensuring timely and compliant execution.
  • Support recruiters with complex or high impact requisitions, serving as an escalation point for hiring managers.
  • Partner with business leaders and P&O Partners to forecast talent needs and develop proactive sourcing strategies.
  • Maintain operational awareness of cost per hire, agency utilization, and recruiting expenses, identifying opportunities for cost optimization.
  • Ensure alignment with OFCCP, EEO, and other applicable employment regulations.
  • Track and analyze key performance indicators and prepare monthly TA performance reports for leadership.
  • Lead or support project implementations for new site openings, expansions, or high-volume seasonal hiring.
  • Coordinate and execute hiring events, job fairs, and community outreach initiatives to meet business demands.
  • Contribute to strategic planning and process improvement projects to enhance TA efficiency and scalability.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for designated business units or regions, maintaining a strong customer service approach.
  • Partner with operational leaders to understand business challenges and workforce priorities, providing proactive talent solutions.
  • Deliver regular recruitment updates, market intelligence, and performance reporting to stakeholders.
  • Ensure consistent and professional communication between TA, P&O, and business leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to DSV's global recruitment policies, documentation standards, and data privacy requirements.
  • Audit ATS data regularly to confirm accuracy and completeness of requisition and candidate information.
  • Promote ongoing recruiter education on compliance, labor laws, and evolving recruitment technologies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing time to fill, improving data accuracy, and enhancing candidate experience.
