As the SNAP (Stop Now and Plan) Supervisor at Family Resources Inc., you will play a pivotal role in leading and overseeing a transformative program that serves both Pinellas and Manatee counties. Your leadership will guide the SNAP initiatives, including SNAP Under 12, SNAP in Schools, SNAP Youth Probation, and SNAP for Youth, all designed to empower children and youth facing behavioral challenges. This evidenced-based curriculum teaches essential skills in emotional regulation, self-control, and problem-solving, impacting not just the youth but their families as well. You will be responsible for managing the program in accordance with internal policies and funder requirements, fostering strong relationships within the community and advocating for client-focused services. Providing consistent leadership and training for your team, you will ensure the delivery of high-quality services, making a meaningful difference in the lives of the families you serve.

Requirements

  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with individuals from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds. Must demonstrate awareness and acceptance of cultural differences of clients staff and community contacts.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal communication organizational and time management skills.
  • Valid Florida’s driver’s license clear driving record and current automobile insurance.
  • Background compliant with requirements of the Department of Juvenile Justice.
  • Must possess a cellular phone to be used for agency business.
  • Schedule: Non-Traditional business hours up to 8pm in Pinellas and Manatee County. Must also be willing to work weekends if needed.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience working with youth and their families.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university preferred with emphasis in areas of psychology, social work or related field.
