About The Position

Job Overview: Fairview is looking for a Clinical Supervisor Service Line- Medical Specialties to join our team at our Riverside Professional Building and CSC in Minneapolis, MN. This position will support our Rheumatology, Infectious Diseases, and Nephrology service lines. Position Details: 1.0 FTE (80 hours per pay period) day shift no weekends salaried position Onsite position Responsibilities: Responsible for managing the operations of designated staff, both clinical and non-clinical. Oversight of front desk, check in, and clinical and non-clinical staff operations. Provides work flow direction and management that is consistent with achieving department and organizational objectives. Other duties include achieving coordination, consistency, and integration in the operation of the clinic site, assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures, assisting in strategic planning and budgeting, and leading and/or participating in improvement projects/teams Provides professional nursing support in an ambulatory clinic setting on an as-needed basis, coordinating and supporting the delivery of patient- and family-centered care. Ensures clinical services are provided in accordance with established nursing standards, protocols, and age-specific care requirements, while performing high-level clinical and operational functions to support care team effectiveness and clinic operations. Oversees the day-to-day scheduling of clinical staff and providers, ensuring appropriate coverage to meet patient care needs. Monitors provider schedules to maximize utilization, maintain appointment availability, and support timely access to care. Collaborates with clinical leadership to adjust schedules based on patient demand, provider availability, and operational priorities while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Nursing
  • 1 year of demonstrated leadership experience
  • Registered Nurse Current MN
  • Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc, Red Cross or MTN)
