About The Position

The role of the Rotating Equipment Supervisor is to supervise and perform the mechanical maintenance activities associated with gas processing and the liquefaction units. This involves the troubleshooting, installation, preventive maintenance and repair of both sophisticated and elementary rotating equipment at the Cameron LNG Plant facility. The Rotating Equipment Supervisor is responsible for adhering to technical and safety procedures, recognized standards and industry practices, and Company policies as well as working as a team to accomplished department goals. The Rotating Equipment Supervisor will have direct reports to maintain the facility, perform required maintenance activities and provide for reliable operation that complies with all safety, environmental and industry requirements and to schedule the daily work. This position will be located in Hackberry, Louisiana. Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is required. Employees’ primary residence must be located within a one-hour drive from the Hackberry plant site.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diplomarequired; Technical degree or Rotating Equipment training preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience working in industrial facility
  • Minimum of 2 years ofrotating equipmentsupervisory experience
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to effectively lead, delegate, motivate,disciplineand createa strong teamenvironment.
  • Strong written,verbaland interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English.

  • Knowledge in lubrication programs
  • Knowledgeable in rotating equipment condition monitoring techniques like vibration monitoring, lube oilmonitoringand thermography
  • Familiar with rotating equipment from GE, Ebara, Elliott, Siemens,Sundyne,Flowserveetc.
  • Can perform minor trouble shooting of rotating equipmentabnormalities.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise all corrective and preventiverotating equipmentmaintenance activities, ensuringcompliance with HSSE policesand enforce safe work practices.
  • Lead and supervise rotating equipment teams, including specialists, in-house mechanics, contractors, vibration technicians, and lubrication technicians.
  • Solve operational, maintenance, and reliability problems related to rotating equipment by directing repairs, modifications, or replacements.
  • Plan and execute urgent rotating equipment scopes, including planning, procurement, andschedulingof plant work.
  • Interface with other maintenance groups, operations, and supporting departments to ensure safe, reliable, and cost-effective maintenance and facility operations.
  • Align with Cameron LNG vision, mission, culture, and the 12 Elements of Cameron Enterprise Management System (CEMS) in all supervisory activities.
  • Oversee contractor performance and verify adherence to technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Supportand collaborate withplanning and scheduling teams byvalidatingjob scopes, resource requirements, and timelines for preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor equipment reliability through collaboration with vibration and lubrication teams, escalating issues to reliability engineering as needed.
  • Providetechnical guidance for troubleshooting complex rotating equipment issues in the field.
  • Manage spare parts and tool readiness for critical rotating equipment maintenance tasks.
  • Lead pre-job and post-job reviews to capture lessons learned and drive continuous improvement.
  • Develop team competency through coaching, mentoring, and training initiatives.
  • Manage rotating equipment related notifications, work orders, purchaserequisitionsand invoices
  • Participate in monthlymechanicalbudget reviews,forecastingand accruals
  • ReportmaintenanceKPIs and provide input for budget planning and cost control.
  • Coordinate special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
