Leveraging your engineering education and experience with rotating equipment troubleshooting and repair to support manufacturing sites producing a wide range of products. Utilizing your depth of expertise to support plant maintenance and reliability teams by working together to diagnose issues, develop, and implement repairs and corrective actions for planned and emergency repairs, overhauls and outages. Supporting sites in the region by providing rotating equipment expertise to drive sustainable improvements as well as utilizing a forward thinking approach that embraces new technology and innovation as enablers to superior performance. Leading and participating in site Reliability Programs including (but not limited to) Bad Actor Program, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Reliability Centered Maintenance, Risk Based Maintenance, etc. Working with related functions of BASF Engineering and Maintenance globally to align on work processes, procedures, methodologies, best practices, etc. and engaging across the region, you will collaborate with production, maintenance, engineering, and research personnel at multiple sites and business units. Act as a technical resource to develop comprehensive maintenance programs, operator training, and contract scope associated with critical refrigeration and chiller systems that support industrial applications. This will entail contract management and engagement with the responsible contractors. If you... Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is required. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering is preferred. Possess 5 years of experience in rotating equipment troubleshooting and repair to support manufacturing sites. Have the ability to make crucial business decisions and recommendations to identify areas for improvement and increase equipment reliability.
