About The Position
MTC operates the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ, providing quality services to local youth. The company values professional and caring employees who are dedicated to improving people’s lives. The Supervisor, Residential Living will be responsible for the management of assigned residential living dorms, which includes ensuring a safe and homelike atmosphere, managing dormitory and maintenance, fostering social skills, developing dorm culture, and promoting student leadership. This role aims to make a positive impact in the community through meaningful work.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent and one year experience working with youth.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency required
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Nice To Haves
- Supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and control dormitory conditions; evaluate situations and conditions within the dormitories and make decisions or recommendations to management.
- Perform administrative duties involving student passes, leaves, evaluations, progress reports, negative incident reports, emergencies, and terminations.
- Provide proper guidance to students to ensure positive group living relations and achievement in the program.
- Direct dorm activities as designated.
