About The Position

Auria is a leading global supplier of highly-engineered systems for automotive flooring, acoustical, thermal, aerodynamic and other fiber-based solutions for gas and electric vehicles. With U.S.-based operational headquarters in Southfield, Michigan, Auria operates 16 manufacturing, 9 technical and 5 JV locations across 10 countries and employs approximately 3,700 people worldwide. We are currently searching for Supervisor Production to join our team at our Auria Albemarle Plant in Albemarle, North Carolina.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates to insure safe, efficient manufacture of quality products to meet our customer expectations and requirements.
• Complete safety investigations and corrective actions as required
• Provide clear expectation to all employees within assigned department or shift
• Monitor and address output & productivity issues within assigned departments inclusive of meeting production targets, cycle time and product & process quality standards
• Hold hourly employees accountable for meeting Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost objectives, investigate concerns as required
• Analyzes manpower and equipment availability and makes appropriate adjustments to maximize productivity and minimize problems (external and internal)
• Follow escalation process for any safety, quality, delivery or production issues
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities, projects and events and the drive changes on the floor with production
• Assist Operations Manager in the manning schedule for all assigned shift
• Work with Trainers on status of new hire training
• Lead projects as assigned by Operations Manager
• Maintain employee time records on a daily basis using Ceridian Dayforce
• Complete all assigned daily reports
• Coaches, teaches, and motivates team members to reach goals of plant
• Perform all other duties as assigned
