OR Departments: Responsible for supervising designated surgery support staff to ensure efficient departmental flow through effective and proper storage, retrieval, setup and maintenance of surgical equipment used across multiple services; timely fulfillment and delivery of surgical supplies and instrumentation to operating rooms; efficient and consistent response to operating room needs including, but not limited to, equipment, supplies, instrumentation, transporting blood/tissue/specimens, cleaning and patient moving/positioning.
Pre-op Departments: Responsible for the day-to-day ancillary operations of the pre-op departments including supervision of processes and support personnel to ensure effective and efficient flow of patients, supplies and equipment.

Requirements

• Three (3) years of operations experience.
• Demonstrated experience in change management and process implementation.
• Basic computer skills.
• Additional requirement for OR: Previous success leading teams in a fast paced environment.
• Additional requirement for Pre-op: Familiarity with administrative functions including scheduling and payroll.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare or related field.
• For OR: Three (3) years of experience in surgical services.
• For OR: Established understanding of surgery operations including, but not limited to, instrumentation, supplies and cleaning.
• For OR: Experience and/or certification as a surgical technologist.
• For Pre-Op: Two (2) years of experience within perioperative services.
• For Pre-Op: Three (3) years of experience in a supervisory role within a hospital setting.
