Develops assignments to ensure the work is performed per written procedures and guidelines to promote safe, economical, and efficient patient care. Identifies training needs and participates in presentation of in-services. Coordinates and evaluates orientation process. Evaluates teammate performance and assists with completing annual performance appraisals. Manages the interview process for potential candidates by scheduling interviews and arranging peer interviews. Assists with preventative maintenance of OR equipment processes and reporting/tracking broken or malfunctioning equipment. Ensures physician preferences for equipment and positioning needs are met. Monitors and orders supplies to ensure par levels are maintained.
