We are seeking a Supervisor of Environmental Services for our team to be an innovator. You will oversee and organize the day-to-day operations of Environmental Services, providing leadership to a group of employees You will train personnel and conducts performance reviews You will provide input/ recommendations regarding budget You will make recommendations relating to human resources issues (e.g., hiring, termination, and discipline) and perform the same type of work as subordinates as needed Good Samaritan Hospital has been serving Silicon Valley since 1965, giving patients access to highly-trained physicians and advanced technology. Requirements

  • High School or equivalent required; A.S. or Equivalent preferred
  • NEHA preferred
  • 1-3 years work experience in area of supervision required
  • Evidence of experience which defines competency in Environmental Services, hospital and healthcare management preferred
  • 0-1 year of progressive hospital/nursing management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Evidence of experience in successful administration and leadership of organizational management programs preferred
  • Ability to manage department employee and labor relations / Human Resource related issues
  • Current Microsoft, computer and other relevant software skills
  • Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care and management system
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language
