About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Environmental Services (EVS) Supervisor to lead our housekeeping and laundry teams in a long‑term care facility. This role ensures a clean, safe, and sanitary environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a working knowledge of healthcare cleaning standards, and a passion for supporting resident care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of housekeeping experience in healthcare or long‑term care preferred
• 1+ year of supervisory or team lead experience required
• Knowledge of infection prevention, sanitation procedures, and safety practices
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and walking for extended periods
• Valid Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and schedule housekeeping and laundry staff
• Ensure all resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and facility spaces meet cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, including infection control and OSHA guidelines
• Conduct quality inspections and follow up on any deficiencies
• Oversee linen and laundry operations, including inventory and distribution
• Maintain supply inventory and order products as needed
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of cleaning equipment and chemicals
• Collaborate with Nursing and other departments to support resident needs
• Address resident or family concerns related to environmental services
• Participate in safety meetings, audits, and emergency preparedness activities
