The Plant Laundry Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of laundry attendants in ensuring successful operational efficiencies are met through effectively managing productivity and labor targets. Additionally, responsible for managing overall daily operations on the plant floor. Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Bi-Lingual English and Spanish
  • Must be able to pass a background check and be authorized to work in the US
  • Computer literacy in using MS Office along with experience in using inventory management software
  • Demonstrated motivational skills
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to train others
  • Desire to help others
  • May work nights and weekends

  • Prior leadership in a plant or industrial facility preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage overall daily operations of the laundry site.
  • Ensure quality controls are in place for all processes, rejecting any exceptions.
  • Responsible for maintaining cleanliness of the area.
  • Oversee the loading of carts and place accurately as requested.
  • Oversee in getting filled carts to designated areas.
  • Ensure laundry and other supplies are readily accessible for use.
  • Ensure that the proper operating and safety procedures are always followed.
  • Ensure proper and timely loading and unloading of products.
  • Ensure team members adhere to all Health and Safety Regulations.
  • Keep and update the productivity report as required.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance of laundry equipment is completed by coordinating with plant maintenance.
  • Responsible for proper training in equipment to ensure safe and productive operations.
  • Train, develop, and appraise the laundry team for all assigned tasks.
  • Assists in the recruitment, selection and onboarding of laundry associates.
  • Assigns schedules and duties to laundry staff for business needs.
  • Assists in determining staffing requirements necessary to meet the operational efficiencies and expectations of the plant.
