About The Position

Morningstar Living is seeking a Full-Time Laundry Supervisor to lead daily operations of our Laundry Department at the Moravian Hall Square campus in Nazareth, PA. This role plays a vital part in ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized environment for our residents. This role is responsible for hiring, training, evaluating, scheduling, and supervising employees in these areas. Demonstrate knowledge of all Department of Health and Department of Public Welfare regulations and the skill and ability to monitor compliance of these regulations Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to oversee all daily operations of the Laundry department; perform duties as necessary to ensure the completion of all daily operations. Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to hire, orient and train, supervise and evaluate employees. Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to prepare employee schedules for the Laundry and Housekeeping department. Monitoring the safe use of all laundry equipment, products, and materials. Demonstrate knowledge, skill, and ability to assist with drafting, writing or revision of policies and procedures of the Laundry operations. Weigh soiled and clean laundry and keep accurate record of weights. What do I need in the role of Laundry Coordinator? High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of three (3) years of laundry experience Strong communication and customer service skills Must be able to supervise employees to ensure that proper procedures are followed, and quality control standards are met. Flexible availability, including occasional weekend hours Basic computer skills Must be able to follow and give written and oral instructions. Dependable, organized, and detail-oriented Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to walk, stand, bend, kneel, squat, lift up to 25 lbs., push/pull carts up to 60 lbs., and remain active for up to an 8-hour shift. Requirements
