About The Position

IT service delivery supervisors oversee workers, facilitate meetings, and ensure that products and services satisfy consumers. As team leaders, IT service delivery managers use strong communication skills to motivate and encourage workers. They also use strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Minimum 4 Expertise Units Required. Expertise Units defined: 1 per each year of managerial experience, .5 per year of relevant technical work experience, .5 per year non IT Military experience, Points for highest degree attained (2 per related Associates Degree, 1 for unrelated; 4 per related Bachelor Degree, 2 for unrelated; 6 per related Masters Degree, 3 for unrelated), 1 per current beginner Certification, 3 per current intermediate Certification, 5 per current advanced Certification.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, software, and troubleshooting
  • Intermediate knowledge of troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Driver’s License Required
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required in accordance with D-H’s Driver Disqualifications Guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Recommends hardware and software solutions to operational issues and meets customer needs.
  • Develops troubleshooting and problem resolution programs to ensure high level of service and efficiency.
  • Plans, develops, directs, schedules, and/or assists in the deployment and/or enhancement of DH's information systems.
  • Manages work flow within the team and communication with other IS teams and user population.
  • Maintains the scope and workplan and ensures all milestones and deliverables are on-time and budget.
  • Responsible for individual teams and projects with a small scope of control.
  • Serves as a liaison with other departments, partners, and affiliates to achieve system-wide goals.
  • Manages staffing and personnel issues.
  • Manages the annual performance appraisal process.
  • Provides supervision to assigned staff and facilitate the development of and oversees their professional development plans.
  • Recommends hiring, compensation, advancement, and dismissal.
  • Empowers individuals, encourages employees toward responsibility and decision making.
  • Promotes continuous learning and improvement.
  • Maintains a broad understanding of both the organization and the health care industry.
  • Mentors and educates the organizational partners, customers, and stakeholders regarding the company technological vision, opportunities, and challenges.
  • Serves as a liaison between the organization and vendors to include building, maintaining, and enhancing working relationships with our external vendors and monitoring the performance of the agreements to ensure objectives are met.
  • Responsible for maintaining and monitoring costs against the budget.
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned.
