About The Position

We are looking for a Supervisor Credit Management to join our Rexel team in Dallas, TX! Summary: The Credit Manager Supervisor is responsible for supervising a small team of Credit Managers and Specialist who are assigned accounts receivable portfolio's as it relates to credit and collections. Responsible for the credit risk process, including annual credit reviews of existing customers and the assessment of the credit worthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimizing sales and minimizing bad debt. What You'll Do: Supervise a staff of Credit Managers and Specialists in the completion of various Credit Management responsibilities Provide credit and other training to employees in order that they can obtain greater proficiency in their work in addition to increasing responsibility Help the Region Credit Manager with work assignments and special projects Ensure Credit Managers are adhering to credit and collection policies and procedures Approve credit limits within assigned authority, both unsecured and secured risk Effectively communicate and escalate issues and information to the Regional Credit Manager on a timely basis Prepare performance reviews and establish individual and team goals Conduct monthly AR reviews with credit managers Manage a portfolio of accounts and perform collection calls for accounts Other duties as assigned Job Duties Disclaimer: The information contained in this job description is intended to describe the essential job functions required of those assigned to this job. Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience
  • High School or GED - Required
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Good team player and self-motivate
  • Proven track record in trade accounts receivable, credit and collections within a repetitive market
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate sound judgment in decision making
  • Ability to understand and analyze financial reports and able to make credits recommendations based on this analysis
  • Commitment to adhere to and promote credit policy in the course of business
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to deal positively with conflict
  • Efficient and effective time management and organizational skills
  • Technical proficiency in Excel, Word, and internet searches
  • Overnight travel to the area of responsibility
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment efficiently
  • Working knowledge in the application of Mechanic's liens and bond regulations
  • Analytical skills to identify trends and interpret financial data

Nice To Haves

  • Construction or related trade/supply experience a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent - Preferred
  • Get Paid collection software experience, a plus
