This role is responsible for assisting with managing the day-to-day operations of the Patient Case Management Department. The Supervisor works with Patient Case Management leadership and the Patient Case Management Physician Advisor to achieve department goals. Key aspects include maintaining clinical competency, serving as a clinical resource to department staff, and providing support to the physician and nursing leadership of WakeMed. The position also involves collaborating with physicians, nursing, interdisciplinary team members, Patient Financial Services, Patient Access, and other departments to ensure timely and quality service delivery, and acting as a resource for resolving barriers.
