About The Position

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for primary planning, organizing, coordinating and communicating operational functions in station/Focus City operations. Also serves as the liaison to critical operational departments, both internally and externally, who support the consistent delivery of safe and on time performance.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive 10-year background check
  • Must possess competent skills in a PC environment including Microsoft (Office, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Word), Prodigiq, Aerobahn, gate manager, etc.
  • 3-5 years of airline experience
  • 1-2 years of airport operations experience
  • Basic knowledge of ramp, load planning, aircraft movement, and customer service policies and procedures
  • Ability to read and understand weather reports, flight releases and flight plans.
  • Possess basic math, reading, writing and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with airline/airport operation
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a stressful environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively, and in a calm, and professional manner at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates all operational information to SOC, flight crews, ground crews, line maintenance, emergency response and contract services via ground, ACARS and ARINC radios.
  • Responsible for coordinating and communicating gate assignments, aircraft towing/movements/parking, and aircraft swaps.
  • Perform audits daily for all flight paperwork
  • Plans and communicates cargo and baggage movement and loading to Load Masters and ramp teams.
  • Communicates passenger capacity or aircraft seating restrictions to Customer Service Agents and station management.
  • Ensure compliance with all FAA, CBP, TSA and USDA regulatory requirements as well as local Airport policies and communicate concerns and opportunities to local station management.
  • Communicates timely and accurate management of flight information and flight status to all station and Company stakeholders
  • Updates baggage and cargo load statistics via SOWeb and other operations software platforms.
  • Monitors local and regional weather as it relates to operational disruptions and plan and communicate disruption plans to all station and Company stakeholders
  • Complete daily reporting of all delay codes and delay explanations for station management review.
  • When required, compile and distribute required flight paperwork to Load Masters in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Develops and maintains professional and consistent relationships with all departments within Frontier and contractual relationships outside Frontier Airlines.
  • Monitor Load Master performance and report concerns to management.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned by your manager.
  • Field all incoming phone calls
  • Identify possibilities for operational improvements and communicate them to management.
