About The Position

The Supervisor, Accounting Services, will play a hands-on role with clients while overseeing accounting operations. This position involves both direct client work and reviewing higher-level work that requires strategic insights. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, multitasking abilities, and foundational experience in accounting operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, preferably QuickBooks Online, is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in a supervisory capacity with a focus on client interaction.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills; ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills essential for client interactions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in public accounting or financial services preferred.
  • Experience with other accounting systems beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary advisor for a varied client base, providing customized solutions and high-level accounting services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to leverage expertise and resources, resolving client issues effectively.
  • Perform higher-level client work, ensuring quality and compliance with industry standards.
  • Engage frequently with external clients to understand and anticipate accounting needs.
  • Manage financial reporting and month-end closing procedures, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Provide expert-level services, including bookkeeping, preparing journal entries, financial statements, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations, audit requirements, and internal controls.
