Requirements

  • Experience with Bent/Poa greens, Bentgrass tees and fairways and Toro irrigation system.
  • Self-starter, “hands on” professional in the Mid-Atlantic climate.
  • Possess or be able to obtain a NJ Pesticide Applicator’s License.
  • “Can do” attitude is a must!
  • Minimum 2-year College Agronomy Degree or Certificate. 4 Years Preferred.
  • Minimum of at least 3+ years as an assistant golf course superintendent.
  • 3 - 5 years in Golf Course Maintenance industry.

Nice To Haves

  • Mechanical knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform the application and recording of chemical applications on the Club grounds in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Supervise the safe use and maintenance of the golf course mechanical equipment by golf course crew
  • Supervise and control all expenses associated with Golf Course Operations.
  • Maintains the golf course at the highest quality possible at all times with an emphasis on positive communication with members and guests.
