About The Position

A leading developer is seeking a Superintendent to oversee field operations on multifamily, apartment,, and assisted living projects. This role will drive day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and at a high level of quality. This is a strong opportunity to join a well-established team with a consistent pipeline of work.

Requirements

• Experience building multifamily, apartments, hotels, or assisted living projects
• Strong knowledge of Northern California subcontractor market
• Proven ability to manage schedules, trades, and field operations
• Strong communication and leadership skills in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, and Microsoft Office

Nice To Haves

• Background in wood-frame construction (Type III / Type V) and podium (Type I / II) preferred
• Experience working with a developer, general contractor, or construction management firm

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations from preconstruction through project completion
• Coordinate with consultants and internal teams during preconstruction planning
• Develop and manage construction schedules, including week-ahead planning
• Schedule and manage subcontractors to maintain project timelines
• Lead and coordinate field staff, subcontractors, and vendors
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and drive timely resolution
• Maintain clear communication with project teams, clients, and trade partners
• Track project milestones and ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule
• Uphold safety standards, quality control, and site organization
