About The Position

We are looking for a Field Services Superintendent who will be responsible for the day-to-day activities on-site with regard to project scope, schedule, manpower, and budget. This includes leading and coordinating the entire onsite SCS team members. This person will be the primary onsite leader that is in close communication with clients. As necessary, review with PM to discuss out of scope hours that are being requested by the site. Responsible for ensuring that all required logs and mobile tools are being utilized and completed daily with detailed information. Familiar with subcontractors work scope, costs, and time limits. Interact with Clients in regards to sensitive and technical matters. Attend all required onsite meetings and provide clients updates on work completion and take their direction on implementing work tasks that may be assigned by them. Provide assistance in setting up accounts with local hardware stores, rental companies, etc. Plan daily work schedule for crew. Complete inspections on equipment and make notes on repairs, flats, or damage to equipment.Interview and hire personnel as requested by the Project Manager. Use tools, ladders, portable saws, and generators to cut pipe to raise or repair gas well piping. Use grinders and extrusion welding equipment to repair or expand gas system or leachate piping. Repair leachate or condensate pumps. Lift and lower repaired pumps into vaults or sumps. Troubleshoot malfunctions of flare start-up/shut-downs, and the GCCS. Review site check lists and inform the Project Manager of any major changes or concerns, and address the items. Participate in monthly tailgate Health and Safety meeting and monthly Health and Safety (SOP) training. Participate in monthly OM&M meetings to review wellfield data with clients. Prepares daily logs for work performed on sites during workday. Actively participate in the SAFE process by making observations, review and assist in the development of the project health and safety plans including the associated Job Task Safety Analyses.

Requirements

  • 40 hour Heath and Safety, 8 hour Management and Supervisor, OSHA 29 CFR 1910.20, Confined Space Entry, and Trench Excavation Safety training.
  • Experience or demonstrated high degree of aptitude in mechanical work; analytical problem solving and data analysis; interpretation of plans, specifications, schematics, manufacturer manuals, system operation and maintenance manuals; interpretation of applicable codes and regulations.
  • 3-5 years field LFG OM&M experience.
