Summer Track Jr. Associate
About The Position
The Wiz Kids Foundation is seeking enthusiastic, positive Junior Associates to assist coaching track-related activities during the summer camp session. The Track Junior Associate is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day implementation of the track program and curriculum. Associates should be passionate about their sport and love working with young athletes ranging from grades 1st through 8th. The Track Junior Associates will work alongside the Head Track Coach. Will serve as one of the group associates and is responsible for assisting with execution of daily skill development sessions. Assist the head coach with leading daily sport-specific drills. Create and maintain collaborative relationships with other staff members. Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper related issues by communicating clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff. Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4). Additional duties as contracted.
Requirements
- Prior track experience at the elementary or high school level.
- Must be High school grad, current undergrad student or post grad student
