About The Position

The Wiz Kids Foundation is seeking enthusiastic, positive Baseball Junior Associates to assist coaching baseball related activities during the summer camp session. The Baseball Junior Associate is responsible for assisting Head Coach with teaching fundamental skills as well as more advanced routines. The Baseball Junior Associate assist with guiding campers through the day‐to-day activities during this activity segment.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a competitive amateur sports organization of baseball at the elementary or high school level.
• Must be High school grad, current undergrad student or post grad student

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities, specific drills and training components.
• Ensure the welfare of campers and positive resolution of camper-related issues by communicating clearly and consistently with camp leadership staff.
• Willingness to comply with Suspected Child Abuse Reporting (Subsection (a)(6) of 325 ILCS 5-4).
• Additional duties as contracted
