About The Position
Elim Summer Only Paraprofessional Be the good in this world by helping others while you help yourself. As a Summer Only Paraprofessional at Elim, you’ll assist students with developmental disabilities achieve more, learn more, and grow. You’ll work with students to create a positive, safe, and productive learning environment. You’ll also assist our students with their personal care needs, like helping them with their clothes, grooming, toileting, hygiene, and mobility. We’re looking for people who care about people. It's fulfilling work that makes an immediate difference in lives. To help our students, you will be provided training and instruction on behavior management, communication techniques and assistive technology. About Elim: At Elim, we believe that every person has a God-given purpose, and we are passionate about helping children and adults with developmental disabilities discover and pursue theirs. Through our special education programs, vocational training, and adult services, we create a place where students and adults are not only cared for but celebrated. Hours: M, W, Th: 8:15am to 3:00pm - T 8:15am to 3:15pm June 8, 2026 to July 23, 2026 - must be able to work the entire 7 weeks Off on Fridays
Requirements
- A Paraprofessional, Substitute Teacher or Professional Educator License is required.
- must be able to work the entire 7 weeks
