Engineering, Operations and Finance Intern Opportunities Engineering/Finance/Operations Intern Located in Mentor, OH Must be on site - no remote work option $20 hour Volk Optical Inc. is a leading brand manufacturer of ophthalmic lenses, diagnostic imaging, and surgical products for the ophthalmic industry. We design and manufacture our products in Mentor, Ohio (20 miles NE of Cleveland), and ship them to our Global distributors and customers. We are looking for talented junior/senior year students to come on board and work on projects that will enable the advancement of innovative technologies and strategies for Volk. Engineer Intern - Quality and Regulatory Team The Quality and Regulatory Team at Volk is responsible for Summer Internship 3-6 months Must be available minimum 20 hours a week Preferred majors: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering Here are some of the projects you will be working on: In this role, you will be assisting in the development They will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring document control activities per FDA/ISO 13485 and international medical device regulations. In addition, the specialist will be responsible for material returns and repairs for national and international customers by managing the RMA process and resolving customer issues and complaints. Engineer Intern - Product Development Team The Product Development Team at Volk is a key function is responsible for Summer Internship 3-6 months Must be available minimum 20 hours a week Preferred majors: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Electrical Engineer Here are some of the projects you will be working on: In this role, you will be assisting in the development of products and enhancing current products. Engineer Intern - Operations Team The Operations Team at Volk is a key function that is responsible for producing all lenses that are sold globally. This intern position will help with Lean initiatives, Kaizen and operational enhancements to increase throughput. Engineer Intern - Finance Team The Finance Intern at Volk is a key function responsible for business development and strategy. Requirements

Engineering, Finance or Accounting major, must be in junior year (min).
Mechanical, Process and Manufacturing Engineering preferred
Excellent verbal and written (including technical writing) communication skills with strong attention to detail is required
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word)
Proficient in time management, multitasking, and organizational skills
Must be available minimum 20 hours a week
