Summer Intern- Seat Belt Engineering
About The Position
To assist senior level engineers in the product design, development and validation testing of seat belt products. Assist in the release of all technical documentation including drawings, specifications, Design Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (DFMEA) and Design Validation Plan and Reporting (DVP&R). Analyze test samples, write test reports and present results Assist in the root cause problem solving activities and to provide technical expertise and trouble shooting to manufacturing locations in support of programs. Manage prototype builds and samples in support of development testing and customer deliverables.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing Engineering degree with GPA minimum of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience taking an active role in group activities
- Understand engineering fundamentals and methods
- Hands-on approach
- Comfortable with hand/power tools
- Self-motivated and engaged in every activity
- Valid Driver’s License
