This opportunity is intended for conversion to a full-time role that will not offer work authorization sponsorship in the future (full-time conversion pending performance evaluation post internship and available headcount). This summer internship offers a unique opportunity to step inside a global retail business and see how finance helps shape strategy, investments, and real-world outcomes. As a Retail Finance and Business Analytics Summer Intern, you will work side by side with experienced finance professionals supporting a fast-moving retail organization. This is not a watch-from-the-sidelines role. You will contribute to live business topics, analyze real performance data, and help answer the kinds of questions leaders make decisions on every day.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year college and graduating with a bachelor degree between December 2026 and June 2027
  • Able to obtain work authorization in the United States in 2026, and not require sponsorship in the future

Responsibilities

  • Support financial analysis for retail programs and initiatives
  • Build and refresh simple financial models to understand revenue, costs, and profitability
  • Assist with forecasting and trend analysis
  • Help prepare summaries, charts, and presentations for business reviews
  • Participate in reviews of retail business performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand how financial insights influence decisions
  • Provide financial analysis for a function or business
  • Perform data extraction and analyzes data to make recommendations
  • Handle financial business issues
  • Provide analytics to business initiatives
  • Develop an understanding of HP's financial processes and a working knowledge of the business
