About The Position

Sharp’s Pro-AV Product Marketing team is seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to help shape the future of our go-to-market strategy through data-driven, AI enabled customer segmentation. This role will focus on developing a segmentation model that identifies key customer groups, buying propensity, and optimal routes to market. Insights learned will help influence product prioritization, positioning, and promotional strategies. This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity to work closely with senior marketing leadership while gaining real-world experience at the intersection of AI, analytics, and product marketing. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest or coursework in AI, machine learning, data modeling, or advanced analytics
  • Ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn data into clear business insights
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and data analysis tools (e.g., Python, R, SQL, or similar is a plus)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with curiosity, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset
  • Interns must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop an AI-enabled customer segmentation framework for Sharp’s display products
  • Identify and define key customer segments based on attributes such as industry, use case, size, and buying behavior
  • Build a structured framework to evaluate: Product attributes and value drivers Key customer profiles and decision makers Propensity to buy across segments Predominant channels and routes-to-market (RTM)
  • Analyze internal and external data sources to generate actionable insights
  • Translate analytical findings into clear recommendations that support: Product prioritization Product positioning and messaging Promotional and go-to-market strategies
  • Present findings and recommendations to the Product Marketing leadership team
