About The Position

The purpose of this position is to establish an intern resource for a period of 10 weeks in the summer of 2026 to support the Product, Marketing/Digital Marketing teams. This position would rotate through various departments/projects to support SA Product & Marketing staff. Support would include assisting with marketing programs, digital platform maintenance, and product and business development as needed. Support would be at the discretion and supervision of department managers. The intern will be exposed to product and conformity assessment program development processes and best practices. The intern will get to interact with experts in AI, cybersecurity, healthcare, and life sciences areas. They will also get to understand how standards and related products and services deliver value to the industry. This position would be on-site at 501 Hoes Lane, Piscataway, NJ, for 5 days a week (Mon. – Friday). The role reports to the Product & Marketing Team and has no direct reports and works under a moderate level of on-site supervision. Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Rising Seniors or soon to be graduates preferred

  • WordPress Content Management System
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and Tableau

Responsibilities

  • Support aspects of digital content, website maintenance, and optimization for the IEEE SA website properties.
  • Daily interface with digital platform monitoring and maintenance tools, for example, Silktide, Microsoft Clarity, SEMRush, and provide ongoing remediation of content errors and/or compliance issues to keep website content accurate, searchable, and compliant with web standards (e.g, ADA, Brand, Legal).
  • Support website updates in an overflow capacity, where/if applicable
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues and support the Digital Manager and Sr. Manager for larger technical resolutions, if/as needed.
  • Maintain routine dashboards for marketing and business units, using web analytics tools and working with the analytics team to evaluate content provided and user requests, and to make recommendations for improvement.
  • Participate in periodic web audits to ensure brand adherence and accessibility.
  • Develop post-mortem campaign performance analytics
  • Support MarTech databases and content repositories– data clean-up, normalization, organization, etc.
  • Assist in analyzing markets for potential product offers and promotion
  • Review product PowerPoint construction
