About The Position

The intern will work closely with the Deputy Director of DOR’s Office of Ethics & Employee Responsibility on projects supporting the office’s audit preparation and the review and updating of internal procedures. This role offers hands-on experience assisting with documentation, compliance readiness, and process improvement initiatives. In addition, the intern may assist with special projects relative to physical security.

  • General computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Gather and review internal OEER procedures to ensure compliance with external audits expected of OEER (DCJIS, IRS, FBI, etc.).
  • Identify areas for streamlining internal practices, policies, and procedures.
  • To ensure compliance with IRS Publication 1075, assist in the reconciliation of assigned-employee building access.
