About The Position

The Green Hills Communications Intern will join the IT and Plant roles with daily operations and gain an abundance of skills and experience.

Essential Job Functions
Participating in interactions with internal business departments to define requirements, discuss project progress, and resolve issues as they arise.
Producing required documentation such as client communication, proposals and user instructions.
Helping with customer installs and cutovers
Working under minimal supervision with moderate latitude for use of initiative and independent judgment.
Documents telecom problems and resolution for future reference.
Monitors system performance and implements performance tuning.
All other tasks assigned by manager or supervisors

Requirements

• Any experience with the Cisco Unified Communications platform including PCCE/UCCE
• Microsoft SQL, AD & Windows Server experiences preferred
• Current enrollment in an accredited program or university
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work well in teams
• Quick learner and problem solver
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
• Familiar with VoIP and SIP technologies is a plus
• Must enjoy working in a fast-paced teamwork environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Enrolled in a 2 year technical program or 4 year degree program in IT or Telecommunications

Nice To Haves
