The Summer Intern, IT-Project Management will assist in planning, analyzing, and documenting project requirements for Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) initiatives. The intern will work on designing AI solutions via MS Co-Pilot Studio and assist in monitoring project progress. At DC Water, our people make us an industry leader. Requirements

  • Experience with AI projects.
  • Experience using project management tools.
  • Familiarity with website development and Microsoft products.
  • Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Must have at least 30 credit hours complete
  • Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average
  • Skills in AI, Python, CSS, JavaScript, project management, and communication
  • Strong learning attitude and willingness to grow within the role
  • English
  • Ability to lift at least 10 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of HTML, JavaScript
  • Preferred Majors: Information Technology, Computer Science
  • Knowledge of Java, SQL database skills

Responsibilities

  • Assist in planning, analyzing, and documenting requirements for AI/ML projects.
  • Help design and monitor AI/ML projects and initiatives.
  • Track project progress using IT PMO tools and processes.
  • Capture project requirements and test project deliverables.
  • Coordinate with the Business and IT Architectural teams.
  • Performance of assignments under the direct supervision of a department lead
  • Performance of other work-related duties as needed
