Our 6-week paid Summer Internship offers an opportunity for college students to gain valuable experience in their field of study while accomplishing tasks and completing projects in a supportive environment. Internship Summary Pay Rate: $18.00/hour Full-Time 30-40 hours a week, onsite at our campus in downtown Dallas June 8-July 17 Intern provides support to the HR department by assisting with various tasks and projects. This is a temporary position aimed at providing valuable experience and exposure to the corporate HR healthcare environment including project work, job shadowing, department and leadership meetings, mentoring, and networking/social events. Human Resources Internship Opportunity The selected intern will gain hands-on experience in both corporate and hospital settings, working on projects that support department operations, employee engagement, and strategic HR consultation. Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma/GED Equivalent
  • Less than 1 Year of Experience
  • Currently enrolled in a college degree program entering junior year or higher level, working toward an applicable Bachelor's degree
  • Must be a current scholar in the Dr. Emmett J. Conrad Leadership Program
  • Minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Detail-oriented and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in work
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn, take initiative and adapt to changing priorities
