Program Details Duration: 10-week internship from May 18 – July 24, 2026 Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week) Work Environment: Hybrid – remote work from the state of North Carolina with onsite events at our Durham campus Residency Requirement: Interns must reside in the state of North Carolina for the duration of the program Experience: Hands-on project work that supports our customers and strengthens communities across North Carolina Mentorship: Interns are paired with a mentor and receive regular feedback to support their development What You’ll Do Join the Judicial Program, where we are focused on the creation and development of strategies that will positively impact dually adjudicated, court/justice/system involved youth and their families. As an intern, you’ll support our development of a statewide reentry/resource guide, gaining exposure to the statewide juvenile justice system and key stakeholders. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to work that drives real change in healthcare.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a degree seeking academic program, ideally in Criminal Justice, social work, political sciences or related fields
  • Strong curiosity, drive, and ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
