About The Position

Resinall Corp, an Ergon company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Research & Development team as a Summer Help – R&D Laboratory Assistant. This temporary position will support ongoing R&D initiatives by preparing laboratory-scale batches, performing standardized testing, and documenting results for internal review.

Requirements

• Enrollment in a college or university program, preferably in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of laboratory practices, including weighing, mixing, and sample handling.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow instructions precisely and work both independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Previous lab or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bench-scale laboratory formulations according to established procedures or project guidelines.
• Perform physical and chemical testing on raw materials, intermediate products, and final formulations using lab instrumentation.
• Record, organize, and submit test results to R&D staff and management in a timely and accurate manner.
• Assist in maintaining clean and orderly lab environments, including proper labeling, storage, and disposal of materials.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies related to laboratory operations and chemical handling.
• Provide general technical support to R&D chemists and project leaders as needed.
