About The Position
Summer Garden & Grounds Position Are you looking for a summer job and enjoy working outdoors? Historic Hudson Valley—the tri-state area’s leading source for family-friendly entertainment—welcomes over 300,000 visitors annually through school programs, historic house tours, and signature events such as The Great Jack O’Lantern Blaze. As Westchester County’s largest cultural organization, we are seeking hardworking and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Summer Garden Helpers and Groundskeepers. Position Overview In this role, you will help maintain our landscapes and gardens to ensure they are attractive and welcoming for visitors.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old
- Be in good physical condition
- Be able to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Have basic computer skills (email, internet)
- Hold a high school diploma or GED
Responsibilities
- Gardening and planting
- Mowing and trimming
- Weeding and mulching
- General grounds maintenance
