This is a temporary position. Must be 18 years of age or older. The Food for Lane County (FFLC) Summer Food Program provides children with nutritious meals when school meals are not available during the summer. Kitchen Assistants prepare meals for distribution to sites across Lane County. Working in cooperation with the kitchen team, this position follows the program menu and adheres to associated U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) meal pattern requirements. This position also assists the Kitchen Coordinator with kitchen operations and workflow, including working with volunteers, receiving food and non-food orders, and completing other assigned tasks.
