Position: Family Liaison Reports to: Site Coordinator Effective dates of Employment: July 6, 2026 -August 6, 2026 Monday- Thursday, 7:45am-2:15pm

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited college with a minimum of an Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English and Spanish to perform the duties of this position
  • Relate well to people of all ethnic groups
  • Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
  • Citizenship, residency or Work VISA in the United States required

Responsibilities

  • Maintain daily attendance records for the program.
  • Contact parents/guardians regarding absences.
  • Update DESE attendance spreadsheet daily.
  • Establish and maintain a parent/guardian resource center in the 21 st Century summer program
  • Assist in interpretation of school and program policies, regulations and/or activities to parents/guardians and students
  • Translate materials that are frequently mailed to parents/guardians
  • Provide information to parents/guardians about procedures and instructional programs
  • Serve as the contact person for parents/guardians to call with questions about 21 st Century activities and events
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Seek ways to involve parents/guardians in their child’s education
  • Perform such other tasks as related to the goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan and 21 st Century Community Learning Centers Grant Program
  • Maintain district and program health and safety protocols from program start to end.
