About The Position

Weyerhaeuser Company in Sutton, WV is currently seeking a Summer Employee. The Summer Employee is a temporary summer program for college students. The primary job may include, housekeeping, painting, mill grounds maintenance/ landscaping, miscellaneous office projects and other clean-up duties. Requirements

Must be 18 years of age to work in the mill
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Must present proof of high school diploma or GED
Must be able and willing to work within safe work practices
Must have strong interpersonal skills
Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
Able and willing to read and comprehend technical and non-technical information
Able to work in confined spaces, high places
Able to bend, twist, stoop
Able to lift on occasion up to 50 pounds
Able to work in a cooperative work system
Able to meet changing requirements and needs
Able to meet attendance requirements
Able and willing to work in changing weather conditions

Nice To Haves

Preferred to have a letter of acceptance or be registered with an accredited college / university as a full-time student
Preferred educational focus on manufacturing, engineering, technical, information technology or business administration
Preferred past experience in manufacturing environment
Preferred past experience in any working environment
