About The Position

This structured rotational internship provides culinary students with hands-on experience in a private country club environment. The program has a duration of 90 days during the summer and is paid, with a possibility of full-time employment after the summer. It is designed for culinary students, with Westchester Community College – Culinary Arts Program mentioned as an academic partner. Interns will have the opportunity to rotate through three distinct kitchen operations, gaining exposure to à la carte dining, banquet production, and high-volume fast-casual service.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate through three distinct kitchen operations: Main Kitchen À La Carte Dining, Banquet & Events Kitchen, and Pool Cabana / Golf Course Kitchen.
  • Develop knife skills and mise en place discipline.
  • Execute recipes and prep lists accurately.
  • Understand service styles across multiple dining formats.
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Demonstrate professionalism and teamwork.
