About The Position

Our global summer vacation internship program will run from June 8 - August 14, 2026, and is designed to provide undergraduate and graduate students with a significant advantage in their professional journeys. This invaluable learning experience could serve as your fast track to a rewarding, long-term career at Korn Ferry. As an intern, you will be integrated into the team and work on real projects alongside Korn Ferry consultants and industry leaders. Your assignments may encompass a variety of tasks such as market mapping, crafting client presentations, data analysis, or even attending client meetings. These professional experiences will significantly enhance your curriculum vitae. Throughout your internship, Korn Ferry will provide extensive support and guidance, as well as practical training and development. This program is designed to equip you with the business acumen and interpersonal skills necessary for success in the workplace, while also providing an opportunity to build your professional network. Your tenure at Korn Ferry will facilitate the discovery of your professional strengths and interests, potentially guiding your future career path. After completing their internship and their studies, many of our interns transition into graduate roles, and we look forward to seeing them develop as their careers evolve with us. This is a hybrid Internship program and there will be an expectation for all Interns to be able to get to the Minneapolis office at least three days per week. If you do well, you may be offered a graduate role for 2027. OPPORTUNITY TO ENHANCE YOUR CAREER - It’s about exceeding your potential. As a delivery-focused Summer Consultant Intern within Korn Ferry’s Healthcare Consulting Practice , you will play a critical role in managing and delivering high-quality client work while helping healthcare organizations address complex workforce, leadership, and organizational challenges. As an integral part of the team, you will support defined aspects of complex engagements, structure and manage projects, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients. Summery Consultant Interns work closely with seasoned practitioners, consultants, and sales colleagues to deliver custom solutions that meet and exceed client expectations. Individuals at this level exercise judgment in diagnosing client issues, tailoring solutions, and leading significant workstreams. While business development is not a core function of the role, there are opportunities to identify or support, extend or enhance client engagements and contribute to new solution shaping discussions with prospective clients. This role also including skill building in planning, execution, financial management, and coordination across global teams within the Healthcare Consulting Practice and broader Korn Ferry enterprise.

Requirements

  • Ability to successfully manage academics with extracurricular activities.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and at multiple levels of stakeholders while delivering high-impact client solutions.
  • Strong interest in leadership, organizational, and workforce challenges faced by healthcare organizations, with the ability to engage senior leaders as a trusted advisor.
  • Proven consulting skills, including client relationship management, analytical rigor, commercial acumen, and business insight.
  • Ability to operate autonomously, making informed adjustments to standard offerings to meet unique client needs.

Responsibilities

  • Client Delivery, Innovation, and Business Development Contribute to or lead delivery teams, creating an atmosphere of trust, inclusion, and collaboration to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Support large projects or significant workstreams within complex, multi-month programs, ensuring delivery meets expectations for quality, timeliness, accuracy, and completeness.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis, synthesize findings into actionable insights, and ensure high-quality client deliverables.
  • Explore new solutions and innovation with multidisciplinary Korn Ferry team members Manage client expectations throughout the delivery process, balancing scope control with a commitment to client satisfaction business development efforts across healthcare terrains
