By overseeing the essential logistics of camp operations-from staff recruitment and inclusive program design to rigorous safety and HIPAA protocols-you ensure that every camper has a safe, enriching environment to thrive in. Requirements

  • Highly organized leader
  • At least three years of supervisory experience
  • Strong background in summer camps or outdoor education
  • Deep understanding of the developmental needs of youth and individuals with disabilities
  • Ability to implement effective behavior-management techniques and safety procedures
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments
  • Proficiency with database systems
  • Valid driver's license (with a willingness to drive 15-passenger vehicles)
  • Commitment to obtaining First Aid/CPR certification
  • Collaborative team player who is eager to give and receive constructive feedback to foster both personal and program growth
  • High degree of physical mobility and sensory awareness to effectively deliver services both in the office and out in the field
  • Communication skills necessary to interact professionally with the public and colleagues-whether in person or via telephone-which includes the ability to see, hear, and speak clearly
  • Significant physical activity, including standing, walking, climbing, and kneeling, alongside the manual dexterity required to operate standard office equipment and handle various objects
  • Reliable transportation or the ability to travel to off-site locations is essential for the successful delivery of field-based supports
