About The Position

Annapolis Area Christian School Summer Programs exist to serve the community through a summer full of faith and fun. This position is for a Summer Camp Science Teacher for the Eagles Explorations day camp. The role involves preparing and documenting daily Science Activities for campers, participating and assisting in planning camp activities such as daily skits and field day events, and leading campers by being a positive role model reflecting the values of AACS. The teacher will also participate in staff meetings, assist in the maintenance of camp equipment and facilities, and foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages social interaction and teamwork. Required training is on Friday, June 5th, 5:30-8PM and Saturday, June 6th, 9:00am - 4:00 pm. Camp dates are Monday-Friday, June 15th through August 7th.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old
• Experience teaching Science in a school or camp setting, with beliefs that are in line with the AACS statement of faith
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Enthusiastic about working in a Christian Environment with Children
• Must profess faith in Jesus Christ and be actively involved in a local church
