About The Position

As a Summer Camp Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and welcoming learning environment for campers. This role involves assisting in preparing fun and engaging lesson plans and activities geared towards hands-on learning, sharing the Latin culture with children, and setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline. You will work collaboratively with other teachers to plan and implement lessons and activities, providing individualized attention to help each child reach their full potential through engaging conversation and hands-on learning. Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times is crucial. Other duties may be assigned by the Director.

Requirements

High school degree or equivalent required
Speak, read, and write Spanish fluently
Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and early childhood development
Energetic and passionate about working with children

Nice To Haves

Previous teaching experience
Basic English proficiency
