About The Position

The Summer 2026 People + Culture Intern will join PM’s Support Center for a structured 9‑week HR‑focused internship designed to provide hands‑on experience in human resources operations, associate relations, recruitment support, compliance, HR systems, engagement, and organizational culture. This is not a shadowing role — you’ll contribute meaningful work that supports HR decision‑making, improves associate experience, and strengthens processes across PM’s hotels. What You’ll Learn & Do ⭐ 1) Associate Relations & HR Operations Support the HR team with associate case documentation, follow‑up notes, and action logs. Participate in HR operations work such as policy updates, handbook reviews, and SOP revisions. Assist in managing HR inbox inquiries and responding to common associate questions. Partner with HR Business Partners to track themes and recommend improvements. ⭐ 2) Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Assist with job postings, candidate sourcing, resume reviews, and interview coordination. Support early‑career hiring pipelines and outreach to schools and hospitality programs. Help maintain candidate records and improve the applicant experience workflow. Participate in structured interviews where appropriate. ⭐ 3) Compensation, Benefits & HR Data Insights Gain exposure to payroll coordination, benefits administration, and associate eligibility tracking. Support analysis of turnover, engagement, recognition, and HR performance indicators. Assist with creating simple reports or dashboards to help leaders understand HR trends. ⭐ 4) Associate Engagement & Culture Support company‑wide engagement and recognition programs (milestones, celebrations, activations). Assist with planning P+C events, wellness initiatives, and cultural campaigns. Help draft internal communication content highlighting people, culture, and successes. ⭐ 5) Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) Contribute to DEIB projects such as women’s leadership initiatives, mentorship programs, and career pathways. Assist in communication and coordination for ForWard-related initiatives and internal communities. Help gather data and prepare insights for DEIB updates and programming.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Hospitality, Real Estate, or Finance
  • Passionate about guest experience, service culture, and brand storytelling.
  • A clear communicator - visually and verbally - with strong organizational skills.
  • Comfortable turning insights into practical tools for frontline teams.

  • Experience with training content, reputation platforms, or brand standards.
