About The Position
About Solen Solen is a committed equity fund that thinks in decades, making buy-and-hold majority acquisitions in hyper-niche, mission-critical software companies. We focus on highly verticalized software businesses that serve critical end markets and generate durable, recurring revenue. Position Overview Solen is seeking highly motivated Summer 2026 Interns to support the firm’s sourcing, underwriting, and execution processes. Interns will gain direct exposure to private equity investing in vertical software and will work closely with senior team members on live acquisition opportunities. The summer internship program will run from May 4, 2026, to August 28, 2026, and is full-time only. We are specifically looking for juniors interested in transitioning into full-time roles upon graduation.
Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential acquisition targets in hyper-niche software verticals
- Build and analyze SaaS valuation and operating models in Excel
- Conduct market mapping and industry research
- Assist in underwriting potential investments
- Support diligence and execution efforts on live transactions
- Develop investment memos and presentation materials
