This is an 11-week paid learning experience during which you’ll be able to connect and network with other interns and leaders within the company. What It’s Like Our team is leading the transformation of learning at T-Mobile by shifting from traditional training to learning in the flow of work. We are moving our focus to designing personalized, modern learning experiences that help employees build skills, access knowledge quickly, and apply what they learn directly to their work. Our work includes shaping learning culture, exploring new learning technologies, and developing innovative approaches that support a skills-based workforce. By connecting learning more closely to real business needs, we help T-Mobile employees continuously grow and perform at their best. What You’ll Do As a Learning Experience Intern , you will contribute to initiatives that embed learning directly into employees’ daily work. You’ll research emerging learning technologies, analyze how employees access knowledge today, and help build the framework for more personalized learning experiences and resources. You may support projects such as mapping learning journeys, organizing content around skills, and prototyping new approaches that make learning easier to discover and apply on the job. Through this work, you will help advance T-Mobile’s strategy to build a modern, skills-driven learning ecosystem that enables employees to continuously grow and perform at their best.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Learning Experience Design, Instructional Design, Educational Technology, Organizational Development, Industrial-Organizational Psychology, UX/Human-Centered Design, Learning Sciences , or a related field.
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Must be actively enrolled in a Bachelors or Graduate degree program
  • Employees of T-Mobile or Metro by T-Mobile are ineligible for Internships
  • Employer does not sponsor work visas for this position. Note that this also applies to individuals who are students in F-1 status who desire sponsorship after they complete their education.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct research on emerging learning technologies, personalization strategies, and modern approaches to learning in the flow of work.
  • Support the design and organization of learning resources that help employees build skills and access knowledge more easily in their daily work.
  • Assist with mapping learning journeys and identifying opportunities to improve how employees discover and apply learning content.
  • Contribute to prototyping and testing new learning experiences or tools that support a more personalized and skills-based learning ecosystem.
  • Analyze feedback, usage insights, or learning data to help identify opportunities to improve the employee learning experience.
