About The Position

Interns will assist Carisk Payment Integrity with special projects, testing new system features and capabilities, learning basic bill review, negotiation strategies, healthcare finance process and terminology, etc.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled college students
• Expected work hours are Mon-Thurs 8:30-4:30 with 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
• Excel skills helpful, eager and willing mind most important quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and collaborative tools

Responsibilities

• Assist Carisk Payment Integrity with special projects
• Testing new system features and capabilities
• Learning basic bill review
• Learning negotiation strategies
• Learning healthcare finance process and terminology
• Take lead on one major project to learn the art of delegation and organization
